KYB secures additional OE business

KYB, the world's largest producer of OE shock absorbers, has continued to strengthen its relationship with Toyota by supplying shocks as original equipment (OE) for the second generation Yaris, built at Toyota's plant in Valencienne, France.

KYB's world class front and rear shock absorbers are fitted on the new Yaris, ensuring high levels of road grip, handling, performance and safety. KYB branded shock absorbers are carefully designed to soften impact and absorb vibrations to improve driver and passenger comfort.

Managing Director of KYB Europe, Hajime Sato said: "With over 70 years' experience, KYB's expertise and advanced technological developments enable us to meet the needs of both the vehicle manufacturer and the motorist. Supplying an innovative carmaker such as Toyota is excellent news for the KYB brand."

Globally, KYB supplies numerous original equipment vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) including Audi-VW Group, Daimler-Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Mitsubishi, Nissan, PSA Peugeot Citroёn and Renault.

In addition to shock absorbers, KYB also supplies a number of automotive components for the aftermarket including coil springs, suspension mounting kits and protection kits.
